I need coverage for [Child] on [date] from [start] to [end] during my possession. Per our plan, I’m offering you first refusal. Please reply yes/no by [deadline]. If I don’t hear back, I’ll arrange [babysitter/family] as needed.
Accepting
Yes—I can take [Child] on [date] from [start] to [end]. Exchange at [location] at [time]. I’ll return [Child] at [end time/location] unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
Declining
I can’t take [Child] for [date/time window]. Thanks for the notice—please use your backup care as needed.
